There are 3 classical stages to this problem;
Tingling is evident in the toes/web spaces after wearing tight shoes or standing for prolonged periods.
Pain increases on the ball of the foot and radiates up into the toes/web spaces after wearing tight shoes or standing for prolonged periods.
Pain is evident on the ball of the foot, web spaces and toes all the time. The patient may feel nauseous and begins to walk differently to avoid placing pressure on the affected area.
Treatment may involve;
Padding
Insole construction
Orthotics
Footwear modifications
Injection therapy
Surgery
