neuromaBasically, it is a lump in the nerve that runs usually between the 3rd and 4th metatarsals (can also be elsewhere). It is where two nerves become inflammed and irritated and it produces a radiating pain up into the web spaces and toes. There are 3 classical stages to this problem;

Tingling is evident in the toes/web spaces after wearing tight shoes or standing for prolonged periods.
